What you can expect

Unwind in the ambiance of a Whitsunday sunset, as you see in the evening from dusk to dark. Watch the lights of Airlie Beach while enjoying your favourite tipple from our fully licensed bar. Sundowner Cruises offers a relaxing social atmosphere for connecting with new friends and sharing experiences. Sundowner is a fully covered, purpose built catamaran designed for socialising - a floating bar. Unlike a yacht, we have a flat surface and no trip hazards. There is ample room to move, and high heels are welcome. A glass of sparkling or soft drink is included in your sunset cruise ticket price, and the bar is open throughout the cruise for you to purchase further drinks. Cash or card welcome. Sorry, no BYO. Sundowner is fun, friendly, sociable, and suitable for all ages.

Tour times vary depending on the time of year:

  • 4.15pm - 6.30pm in the months of April - October
  • 4.45pm - 7.00pm in the months of November - December + March
  • 5.00pm - 7.15pm in the months of January - February

Please meet at the allocated start time at Coral Sea Marina, North Village, Shingley Drive, Airlie Beach, Meeting Point B, at the roundabout under the white umbrellas. Please make sure you reconfirm with Iconic Whitsunday Adventures 48 hours prior to your trip.

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations up to 24 Horus in advance will have their tickets refunded. Cancellations after 24 hours or no-show will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
